Annie started Mind Block Media because she genuinely believes in the power of social media to transform businesses. With her background in corporate marketing and a brain that’s equal parts strategy and creativity, she knew she could bring something different to the table.

We found our passions and ran with it.
Before Mindblock Media came to life, Annie was working a classic 9–5 in corporate marketing, and her husband, Carter, was balancing freelance videography while launching a food truck business (yes, he really does it all).
What started as a natural blend of content creation and social media management which quickly gained momentum with the local community. Carter landed a spot with the incredible team at Skycam Digital, known for their luxury real estate media work in Charlotte, NC. Meanwhile, Annie decided to take the leap—leaving her 9–5 to pursue freelance social media management full time. It didn’t take long before she filed for her LLC and made it official.
These days, they still get to work together— not only through Mindblock Media’s content creation, but also through her ongoing work with Skycam Digital.
Since launching, MBM has helped countless brands show up online with confidence, clarity, and strategy—growing their presence in a way that feels good and gets results.
